The Shimano FC-M8200 Deore XT crankset perfectly balances rigidity and weight using HOLLOWTECH II aluminum hollow-forging and a standard 24mm steel spindle to create a crankset thats strong enough to survive burly impacts while remaining light enough for XC use. Combined with the reinforced SM-CR86 direct-mount chain ring (sold separately) there is a specification of FC-M8200 for every trail rider.
